Elementary Religious Education is an on-going faith development for elementary students from grades 1-8. The students are prepared to appreciate and value their faith more and are instructed to learn and know more about their Catholic religion, prayer, bible, sacraments and the fundamental teachings of the Catholic Church.
Religious Education Classes and Sacramental Preparation Classes
All classes are held on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 am, September to June. Students are grouped into small classes according to grade levels and instructed by our dedicated catechists in preparation for the reception of the sacraments. Students also have an opportunity to attend a monthly Eucharist as a Religious Ed school community.
Sacramental preparation is a two-year process.
⦁ Year 1/Level 1 – preparation for 1st Reconciliation (Confession)
⦁ Year 2/Level 2 – preparation for 1st Holy Communion
Registration is held during the summer months. Classes begin in September and ends in June. Celebration of these Sacraments are usually held in April or May. For more information, please call the Religious Ed Office.
